Gettin’ with the times

Next month that whole TV-stations-broadcasting-in-digital thing starts. We will not be affected but it really got me to thinking how stone age our entertainment/electronics set up is that the moment. For the most part, everything runs really separately and we don’t have anything fancy like a Slingbox so we can watch videos from the internet and our computers on the TV. I had a friend with an Apple TV thinger and they were able to watch Youtube videos and such on their TV. It was pretty near and while I wouldn’t necessarily tune into Youtube, it might be cool to take some footage with my camera or download a TV show/movie and watch it on the television rather than my monitor (which I just cannot get set up to work well with videos). For now, we just do it the old fashioned way. ;)
