Banana Nut Cheerios

Because Dez raved about new Banana Nut Cheerios, I thought I’d give them a try as I was our of cereal. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I expected something like Cheerios with bananas on them and instead got an overly sweet cereal which smelled and tasted true strong of fake “banana flavour” as opposed to tasting like Banana. It tasted like banana product, after you add it to a recipe, rather than the subtle fresh Banana taste that I was hoping for. It is reminiscent of banana bread but not the fresh fruit itself. The commercials are wrong when they claim it’s the “great taste of real banana.” It’s neither great nor real banana tasting. On the bright side, at least the box was smaller than usual so I don’t have that much to eat.
