If Italians love Pizza Hut’s Pasta..

..then I suspect their pasta must be shitty. Pizza Hut has done a lot toward advertising their pastas and I was finally able to try their chicken Alfredo in a Pizza Hut restaurant the other day. You would imagine this would be better than take out or delivery because it would be slightly fresher but, overall, I really was not impressed.
It was just off taste-wise. It didn’t even taste anything like mediocre Chicken alfredo. It had no real discernible taste except for something which just tasted “hot” to me – as though it was slightly burnt (but it didn’t seem that way).
And, really, if it doesn’t taste good, does anything else matter? For an individual serving, I found $7/$8 to be a little exorbitant. The portion was decent enough for me to fill up and take some home but I didn’t enjoy it at home, either. The pasta also came with some pretty tasteless garlic bread.
considering the amount of time and money Pizza Hut has spent advertising these products, I expected them to be pretty good. In fact, the waitress recommended the Chicken Alfredo over the other pastas and I was several disappointed. I did not enjoy my meal at all and doubt I will order pasta from Pizza Hut again.
