Tgi Fridays Blenders Orange Dream

Date Mon, March 8 2010

I used to think that I didn’t like drinking but the fact is, I do like alcohol but only in certain drinks. Specifically speaking, I like things creamy and slushie and sweetly flavoured and Tgi Fridays Blenders Orange Dream drink definitely hits the spot. It is definitely one of the tastier alcoholic beverages I have ever had and it’s easy to make, too. All you have to do is add 1cup of ice to 3oz of drink and blend. If you’re adventurous, you could even skip the ice; although, it gives it a nice texture.

The result is an alcoholic drink which tastes surprisingly like dreamsicle products despite a 12.5% alcohol content per volume. There is no overpowering alcohol taste (although it does contain vodka) and the combination of orange and vanilla is really perfect. It’s almost decadent and feels like a treat or dessert, not just a drink and it could easily pass as a smoothie.

The entire bottle states it makes 18 drinks and with an average price of $10 – $25, you’re only paying about $1 per drink which is definitely cheaper than going out. The bottle also states that this is a non-dairy product but there is no information about calories or such, however, and this would be good to know.

After trying Tgi Fridays Blenders Orange Dream, I am excited to try the other flavours which include Mudslide and Strawberry Shortcake.

I live in Windsor Ontario Canada and was very disappointed to hear from our Liquor stores (the only place we can buy alcohol) that TGI friday’s has discontinued the orange dream. I agree it is truly decadent, I will miss it.
I have written the company to see if it is only being discontinued in Canada, as I live close enough to the USA to go over and get it if its available..

I’ve been drinking this drink for about 8 years now. My refrigerator is never without one in it. I went to the beverage store May 2011 to get another bottle, and the manager looked it up and said they are NOT discontinuing it. I live in North Carolina,U.S. If I do hear they are going to discontinue it, I’ll be buying every bottle I can get my hands on.

For the guy that responded this isn’t a popular drink and they are discontinuing it-LMAO!!!! Since you wrote last year and its still going strong-has been out a very long time. Very popular at bbq’s and campfires around here. I have some in my frig always!!- about 15 bucks at Walmart.

I wonder if they changed their mind because it did become difficult to find–at least in some areas.

I have been researching in BC canada to find this drink and BCLB does not have a retail list price for it anymore which would lead me to beleive us canadians are being cut from the loop to enjoy this drink anymore

I’ve indulged in this drink for years. I got on this site after not finding it in 3 stores that commonly carry it. I found it today at Bev Mo!! I noticed Bevmo online has it too.

First I have had this many times before and have loved it. Tonight I bought some and it tasted horrible. It must have gone bad. I’m just not sure how. Hopefully the store where I purchased it will refund my money or trade it for a different flavor. I just bought 2 of these and I’m hoping I’m not out 30$. Not sure I will try them again.
