Alas, there is no ampm restaurant in the area (even though Google Maps begs to differ!). It’s a shame because, after discovering their secret menu, I might be develping a craving. You’ll have to head over to their Facebook page and check out the secret menu tab yourself, for more information but I have to tell you that Tower of Torta reminds me of something straight out of the Scooby Doo cartoon. I don’t know if my mouth is big enough to eat that.. or even if I could do so without wearing it. It’s more likely that I’d go for the Italian Taco, a strange mixture of pizza and corn dog!

Either way, if you like oddball combination and have a never ending appetite (maybe you’re a stoner?! ;)), the secret menu is sure to have something you’ll love. Plus, ampm is not yet finished unveiling all the secret menu items. There’s still one coming out every week of next month (8/2, 8/9, 8/16 and 8/30) and I can honestly say that I’m not quite sure what those secret menu items will be. Plus, you can design your own secret menu item on August 2nd, so the possibilities really are endless.

But, you know, all this talk of secret menus only confirms what I have suspected all along: restaurants tend to leave the best options right off the menu. You have to be some sort of secret spy to know the secret. Unless we’re talking ampm who isn’t very good at keeping secrets. Better for the customer, though!
