Stouffers Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta
Wed, October 6 2010
I am a fan of the Stouffers brand. I like some of their TV dinners and frozen sandwiches. They make some tasty meals, too. The Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta is one of those. It’s a family sized meal in a cardboard tray that you cook in the microwave.
Stouffers Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta incorporates elements of your classic chicken cordon bleu–chicken, cheese and ham–and adds some tasty pasta and peas before covering it all in crunchy bread crumbs. It’s totally delicious. Super easy to make. It would be great as a main course after a salad or if you wanted to add some bread.
The Swiss cheese is really creamy. The noodles are soft. The chicken and ham are fresh and the peas. Well, what can I say? I don’t actually like peas but the peas in this are a sweet kind that blend seamlessly with the rest of the dish.
Stouffers suggests that this will feed 2-4 and that’s spot on. I usually eat some and chill it so I’ll have leftovers later. I typically get about three servings out of it but you can extend it by adding other elements to the meal.
