Angry Birds Star Wars Game Giveaway

Date Fri, April 26 2013

Let me tell you what happens when I go over to my mom’s house. My sister screams my name and hugs me. I say “Hi” to everyone. Things settle down, and then and then, my sister asks for my phone to play one of the games I have installed. Oh, she doesn’t play coy. You see, even though I gave her my old iPod Touch, it doesn’t play all the games she wants to play, so she has to use my phone. Must.

Her favorite games include Coin Doze, Plants Vs Zombies and — you guessed it — Angry Birds. I have all the titles except Space on my phone because it just looks so much better on my Kindle Fire. One of those games is the newest release: Angry Birds Star Wars. To be honest, I could have sworn that I’d reviewed it on Reviews by Cole before, but I don’t seem to have a post. We both enjoy it for several reasons. I am a geek, and I love how the devs incorporated the Star Wars theme. I also think that this makes the game more fun because it lies a little less on real physics and a little more on the force and light sabers. You better not argue.

Of course, in true fashion of a pop culture craze, Hasbro is making actual Angry Birds Star wars toys and games. Yep, you read it right. Real toys and games modeled after video games after movies. Phew, that’s a mouthful, isn’t it? To be honest, though, I love it. I know that my sister will, too, and while I’m waiting to receive my own review copy in the mail, I’m happy to announce a giveaway to my faithful readers. I know that giveaways have been a little scarce lately, and I hope I can make it up to you!

The current toy lineup includes three items:

The coolest of these is the AT-AT Attack Battle Game. I mean, you get all the pieces to create an AT-AT and a launcher. 12 Angry Bird pieces come with, include Han Solo and the adorable R2-D2. And after you set it all up? You get to knock it all down. Or your kids. Whatever.

Maybe flinging isn’t your thing. If so, the Millenium Falcon Bounce Game provides some other options to get those evil, piggy storm troopers. In this game, you bounce your Rebel Alliance birds at the Millenium Falcon in an attempt to knock down Darth Vader and company.

Finally, the Star Wars Foam Flyers are generally ball-shaped foam toys that you can throw at just about anything in the true spirit of Angry Birds. Of course, soft foam means that no one gets hurt.

I obviously have my favorites, but they might be different for your family. But you can enjoy one of these games — specifically the ANGRY BIRDS STAR WARS AT-AT ATTACK BATTLE GAME — with your little ones if you check out the PromoSimple form below and complete a few easy entries.

Good luck!

Giveaway ends May 3.  Giveaway is open to US residents. Reviews by Cole is not responsible for shipping.
