The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Blu-Ray Combo Pack [Giveaway]

Date Mon, March 18 2013

Being able to host this giveaway for you guys makes me want to shriek in nerdiness. Granted, I’m not super fond of 3D or three-part movie series (I mean, what’s up with that lately?), but I am a fan of Tolkien and Middle Earth. In fact, I’ll probably spend some time playing Lord of the Rings Online later, so that gives you an idea of where I’m coming from. And you maybe read my review of the hobbit menu from Denny’s.

Of course,  I saw the movie when it was in theaters. I had friends who saw it twice. I was able to quote along with characters and enjoy some fantastic views. It was a gorgeous movie, and the CGI was pretty well done. I’m sure the Blu-Ray version will look just as stunning on your own TV; although, I don’t have a Blu-Ray player myself. But the combo pack includes both, which means you’ll get to enjoy yourself some time with Bilbo, Gandalf and the gang no matter what type of movie-watching technology you have at home. Sales start on March 19.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey coming to Blu-ray & DVD

Maybe you’ve been waiting to see it at home because you just didn’t have the time, the money or the energy to do it before. Perhaps it’s too much of a hassle to find a babysitter or stuff the kids in the car. Or, you might not have any friends who would have enjoyed such a movie (I’m always looking for new friends!), which was the case with my mom. Perhaps you’re already wanting to see the movie again because you just can’t get enough of the dwarves from Thorin’s Hall. Either way, I know you want it, and I’m happy to provide it for you.

Like the other PartnersHub giveaways, you’ll have to click around the app that is right below this text in the expanding box (click to activate). Test your knowledge and have a little fun. I found out that I’m 73% hobbit. I suspect that I am hobbit-like in that I don’t quite love change and like the comfort of my own home, but I’m not as fashionable as Bilbo. ;)

Then, you can use the PromoSimple widget to enter the giveaway. I’ve enabled logging in, so the form will remember your information for future giveaways. How cool is that.

You can return once a day to complete activities such as tweeting, and this will increase your chances of winning. I’ll randomly select a winner when the giveaway is done, and you can check back at this post to see who it is. I’ll email the winner, and I usually make an announcement on my Facebook page, which you should be a fan of (this will also be an entry!)

Giveaway runs until April 9. Reviews by Cole is not responsible for shipping giveaway prizes.

Good luck.

I have been having trouble on your site and another one, Promo simple is not loading. Help!!

I see that the form is taking some time to load — and this is holding up the entire site. I’d suggest letting it load in the background. If the page loads without the form, press f5 to reload it. Failing all that, there’s a link in every post that takes you to the hosted form on Promo Simple’s site. I hope this helps.
