A while back, when I still had DirecTV, they had that spat with Viacom, so we lost a couple channels. In place of the kids channels, we got the Hub. I was previously unfamiliar with this channel, but we watched it quite a bit for some of the reruns of things like Sabrina and Batman Beyond that we’d loved. They also have some great shows for the younger audience; although I don’t quite fall into that group. One of those shows is The Wotwots by Pukeko Pictures.
This show is perfect for preschoolers and the younger crowd, but I have to admit that I find the fuzzy, little alien characters adorable. The design is familiar to me, but I can’t quite recall what it reminds me of. I think I would have definitely liked these little aliens when I was younger. It only makes sense that they’re selling plushies, and I’m proud to announce that I will be able to give away one of those plushies to a reader of Reviews by Cole. You can have your very own SpottyWot or DottyWot. If it’s not up your alley, they’d make good holiday presents, too. The eco-friendly packaging already has a bow on it!
They measure 12″ and are reasonably priced at just $14.95. You can get one for your niece who lots Dottywot or your son whose favorite color is blue. Or maybe just collect them for yourself. Not judgment here.
