Paid Blogging Websites

Date Sun, October 9 2011

When I started this website, it had a different goal for me than it does today. It was a mixture of reviews, almost exclusively of product I’d purchased myself, and paid blogging. I was using the website to earn money in a pretty direct manner. I mixed things up with some contests and some shopping posts. I tried to start some themed post days but could just never stick with it. I guess that’s how things go when you just don’t

Sponsored Reviews
I have occasionally sign in to Sponsored Reviews to accept an ad. I get a lot of opps that I turn down simply because I don’t want unrelated content on the website. For example, there’s a ton of essay writing or gambling opps at any given time. I try to stick to health and beauty, home, food or Internet topics on this blog. The nice thing about Sponsored Reviews is that the opps all appear in a list and you can apply to them if the price you have specified for your blog is within the buyer’s price range. I don’t know if I’ve ever actually heard back from applying myself but I periodically go through the list to apply to and hide all the opps I’ve already seen so that, the next time I sign in, I’ll see new opps.Sponsored Reviews only takes 14 days after your post has been accepted to pay you, which is awesome. The 30-day rule that Blogsvertise and SocialSpark uses seems sooo long some times!

Blog To Profit
I only received a couple of oppos from Blog To Profit once, right when I fist joined. I don’t even know if the site is still active. Unfortunately, it’s just not very dynamic. The pay was along the lower end. Blog For Profit does have a quick payment schedule according to their FAQ:

Payments are sent weekly. All posts submitted and confirmed to be free from any error on or before a particular Friday will be paid the next Tuesday. Entries confirmed after the cut off will have to wait for the next payout schedule, even if it was for the same blog. Time zone for Post Confirmation and Payout: Pacific Standard Time(PST)

Bloggsvertise
I’ve used Blogsvertise a few times and recently took a closer look as I saw other folks were using it. Although I’d been a member, I hadn’t received a lot of opps. I have since determined that you can contact them to request more and a recent e-mail update indicates that you may receive more opps if you respond to your invites more quickly. I’ve been trying to do that.As I mentioned how much I dislike the 30-day wait, I am currently waiting on money from them that I won’t see for over a week. However, you don’t need to make a minimum in order to be paid, so you’ll be paid individually for each post. I would slightly prefer a weekly or bi-weekly payment instead but it’s not a huge deal. According to Jenn, however, payment isn’t exactly timely. Indeed, their help pages state that payment is not automatic and may take longer than 30 days in some cases.

The one redeeming quality of Blogsvertise is that you can snag qualifying opps that others have rejected. They sometimes have some “guest blog” opps in which you simply copy and paste the content and links to a new blog post. Now that’s some easy money.

Pay U 2 Blog
It’s been a long time since I’ve used Pay U 2 Blog. Although it was consistent, you didn’t have a choice in opps and payment wasn’t super high. I’ve written about them before in the past. One day, I signed on and had no new opps for no specific reason. I have since stopped working with them.

SocialSparkI still frequently write for Social Spark and have written an entire post about it. Go join!

The following websites do pay you to blog but I’ve either never had an opp or wasn’t accepted. Others have had more luck, however.

I’ve also had paid blog opportunities that I’ve discovered when looking for sponsored reviews. For example, I have an upcoming review that I will be compensated for by the Clever Girls Collective.

I have been working with linkvehicle.com a lot as well, and they have given me quite a few opportunities. Of course, I do write about almost anything. (I make sure that I do produce a normal type blog along with the sponsored posts on the same day.)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I’ll check out Link Vehicle. This post is older and it’s definitely not a complete list of all the website I’ve used!
