Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash

Any company bold enough to use the word “miracle” in their product name is making some pretty big claims, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try this new product from Dial. The Miracle Oil Body Wash promises a rich lather, residue-free cleansing and soft skin all thanks to their miracle in a bottle — marula oil.

Now, if you’ve never heard of marula oil, you’re not alone. I certainly was unfamiliar with it before this opportunity literally delivered itself to my doorstep. It might not be as common as tea tree oil, argan oil or coconut oil (Dial also makes a Miracle Oil with coconut oil), but it’s been used in products made by Paul Mitchell in the past. Marula oil is known for its ability to hydrate and protect skin thanks to antioxidants and omega acids, so it makes perfect sense to add it to body wash!

Obviously, this is going to get you nice and clean, but can it do more than that? Some folks use marula oil to help treat sunburns, soothe skin after waxing and even as makeup primer, so Dial’s Miracle Oil with marula oil could really offer a lot of benefits when used as part of your daily routine, which I’ve been doing for about a week now.

This body wash has a thick texture that lathers well. A little goes a long way. It feels quite good on my skin and rinses away cleanly. If you’ve used washes that leave your floor slippery, you might give the marula oil body wash a try.

Although I tend to review/try a lot of body washes that are much sweeter in fragrance, Dial Miracle Oil Body Wash has a rather neutral clean scent that would work for the whole family. If I were just smelling cleaners on the shelf at the store, I might have passed this one by for not smelling amazing. But it’s definitely not bad!

After my shower, the scent fades away but my skin stays pretty soft and smooth. This is good because I was experiencing some serious dryness. Now that the snow is melting and spring is being ushered in, my home isn’t so dry, but it’s always good to have a hydrating product.

While I generally opt for creamy body washes, I’ve been happy with the performance of this one. I would definitely consider buying it. Right now, you can find it at retailers such as Target, and I’m willing to bet this new product will pop up on more shelves.

Three lucky readers of Reviews by Cole will actually get a chance to try out this new product. All you have to do is enter via the Gleam widget below, and you could win a coupon for a free full-size bottle of Miracle Oil Body Wash.

Good luck!
