Pure Ice Electric

Pure Ice Electric

I treated myself to a couple bottles of polish two weeks ago. They were both black-ish. I bought Pure Ice in Electric because it was a black glitter. I almost never go with glitter nail polishes, but I’m glad that I picked this one up, and it cost less than $2.

The formula is pretty easy to work with. It wasn’t clumpy or too thin. It didn’t take long to dry, and I only needed two layers to completely cover my nails in an opaque layer. It didn’t bubble as it dries, which is a problem I’ve been experiencing with a lot of other nail polishes lately. Consider how lazy and impatient I am, and you know how much I need a nail polish that plays nicely.

After painting, my nails looked fantastic. It’s a glossy polish that shined even more once I added a top coat. It looks far different on my nails than in the bottle, where it almost appears to be black-on-black. The glitter is definitely glittery, so you get a sort of night sky view. It’s more sophisticated than plain black by far, and I love the tiny glitter. I’m not a fan of chunky polishes.

What makes me love this even more is how long it lasted. This nail polish didn’t chip or wear off until I started picking at it because I was so sick of it being on my nails. For a discount nail polish, I was really surprised. It surpasses even my Orly polishes, and I’m sure it’ll last you even longer if you don’t do a lot of chores or work with your hands,
