This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ShopYourWay Program for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

PersonalShopper.jpg Men like to joke that shopping is a social activity for women, and now ShopYourWay is a website that allows you to shop socially online. Now, don’t get me wrong, even without this sort of website, shopping has always been social. Dez and I always send links back and forth to stuff we want on MSN, and Pinterest has certainly made it easier; although, it doesn’t exist solely for shopping.

Right now, you have to Request an Invite to ShopYourWay, but it shows up as soon as you enter your email. It’s easy to start your account with either your email or sign in with Facebook, if you like to do that. Then, you’re on the site and can seach for particular items, or look through catalogs, with are like lists or pinboards. If you’re just browsing, the website lets you view brands, stores, interests or friends.

As I was getting used to the site, I did a search for Kindle Fire, because I love mine. It came up, along with a bunch of cases an accessories. The option let me add it to a list of things that I have, and I could then rate it. The expanded info showed lists of people who also have or eant a product, which is pretty neat. There’s an interesting comparison feature where you can engage the community to help you choose between similar items, which I could really see coming in handy.

All of your activity then shows up on your profile, similar to Facebook’s timeline. Of course, if the social aspect isn’t up your alley, ShopYourWay has a rewards program.  You can earn points when you present your membership number when shopping at stores like Kmart or Sears online and in person. When your invited friends, known as clients, make a purchase, you can earn 1% or 2% cash back, which is a pretty sweet deal. Knowing what everyone wants, likes and has makes it easy for you to become the best personal shopper ever and earn more money. Even if you’re not in it for the rewards program, it looks like ShopYourWay has a little bit of something for everyone.
