Q: Do I need another lotion or body cream product?

A: Well, not really.

But I signed up to review Vita Sciences Maxasorb b12 anyway.

Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12

Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12

This product is especially designed to help relieve symptoms of skin rashes,  eczema and psoriasis. This is due to B12 methylcobalamin, and the cream contains 30 “measured” doses of this ingredient. According to the product description, it helps renew skin, so it’s great if aging skin is a concern of yours. It’s not a concern of mine.. yet. Knock on wood!

It comes in a compact pump bottle that’s kind of cute and super easy to use. I pumped out some product as soon as I had it open!

Imagine my surprise when the product that came out was a vibrant pink and smelled like peppermint. You might not recall so much, but I don’t like minty smells or tastes. In fact, that’s putting it pretty mildly! Smell is important to me, so I will pass this product on to someone who will enjoy it more than I do. That doesn’t mean that I hate it or anything, however.

I do like the pump, which adminsiters just a little of the product in a mess-free way. If you keep the cap, which my cats have long made off with, the bottle is small enough to be travel friendly. I carry a small purse, but Vita Sciences Maxasorb will definitely fit in larger bags.

The thickness of this cream is ideal to really absorb into your skin, which is why it would work so well for anyone with a specific skin condition such as psoriasis. I was worried mostly from dry skin due to our prolonged winter, and the product had no issue with that. It would probably be a little bit thick for use on your face, however.

I also had no reaction or adverse side effects when using Vita Sciences Maxasorb B12, so I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for solutions to their specific skincare issues. At just under $20 per bottle, it’s a little pricier than some of the products I’ve posted about on Reviews by Cole that might help with those conditions. If MaxAbsorb isn’t up your alley, you might try Zim’s Crack Creme or SkinFree‘s lineup.

However, MaxAbsorb isn’t greasy, which makes it a better hand cream than some. And I liked it well enough that I’m waiting on another VitaSciences product to try!
