So it’s kind of cool that EdenFantasys is now carrying a whole bunch of fragrance options. I also love that they’re carrying the entire cake line. I still love my Milk Made body froth and I want to try both of the scents of their Supremely rich bath and shower froths. I’ll probably get some of the Milk Made sugar scrub, too.

Principessa Beauty is another new company and while I have not yet tried its products, the lotions, lip glosses, body washes and perfume oils all call to me. When did I become such a girl? So whether I want to spruce up my hair and skin or show off the girls or invest in some sex toys, EdenFantasys definitely offers a variety of options this Valentine’s Day.. even if it’s likely I’ll be spending it alone. d=

That’s not the only upcoming review, however. I just got a package of items from Bodycology, including frosting scented lotion! And the list of things I’ve purchased on my own and want to review keeps growing, too. I’ve got a toothbrush, make up, video games, hand soap, books and even some software waiting for me to spread the good–or bad–word about them.

Of course, I’d rather not try a prescription product or one that is very pricey so I stick to drug store brands. So far, I prefer Clean & Clear and Clearasil but it seems that every time I really like a product, they stop making it or the store stops carrying it. Why is that?

For instance, I really liked Clearasil’s daily face wash (and the product line’s new look!) but was disappointed to find they didn’t carry it at the BX in Misawa. Furthermore, once I was able to look at a bigger store, I couldn’t find it. I was also confused ebcause the look had changed – and not for the better. So last night I picked up what I believe to be the equivalent in their new line of products and will be doing a review of that shortly.

From the get-go, this product worked almost flawlessly and my skin saw very few blemishes for nearly a month. Even after that, when I could tell the product was not working as well as it had, I only had a pimple or 2 to show for it.

This creamy formula, with its non-offensive scent, works well when it comes to my occasional acne and also keeps my skin feeling clean and non-greasy. Although I would probably switch to another product after about a month of using Clean & Clear’s Advantage Acne Cleanser in the future, I am definitely impressed with how fast and well this product has worked for me.

I shouldn’t have. I was sorely disappointed for this product. Though it claims to be for combination/oily skin, my skin became much more greasy after use. My acne also flared up. My face felt rather disgusting.

I’m not sure if Olay Deep Cleansing Face Wash was so drying that my face recoiled by going overboard with oil or if it just failed to cleanse my skin of oil but, either way, I was left with unpleasant skin.

I’ve been trying to Olay Deep Cleansing Face Wash Combination / Oily Skin up as it’s a rather large tube and I don’t want to be wasteful but it’s taking quite some time and every time I switched back to Olay, my break faces out and becomes covered in Oil again.

Perhaps I just need a different product or Olay Deep Cleansing Face Wash is a poor representation of Olay products but, either way, it can be improved.

I was intent on buying a new cleanser after the one I had been using seemed to have stopped working so well. I have never been a fan of Neutrogena products as they seem chock full of chemicals, so I skipped those. Unfortunately, the BX didn’t offer than many other options so I looked in the Clean & Clear section, which I often use. In fact, the cleanser I was looking to replace was Clean & Clean (though it wasn’t meant to fight acne).

I settled on the Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser in a pretty purple tube.. It boasted a grand 10% active ingredient (benzoyl peroxide) and I hoped that it would live up to the name and have continuous effects on my skin well after the washing.

There isn’t much one can say about these types of things. There’s no assembly and no parts; either Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser works or it doesn’t.

It works. Probably due to the high concentration of active ingredient. Most cleansers seem to have only 1 or 2% active ingredient and Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser contains 5 – 10 times that amount. Benzoyl peroxide is also an alternative I’ve only seen in this product this far; Salicylic acid seems to be the preferred active ingredient in most acne cleansers. I must say, I think I’m a fan of benzoyl peroxide now.

My face cleared up quickly and, although I’ve had a blemish or two since, I haven’t been faced with oily skin in the morning either or any big break outs. Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanse) seemed to start working immediately; making the switch usually doesn’t show results that fast. I even stopped using my face wipe pads which I would use in addition to cleansing my face in the shower.

Beware that this does have quite a strong chemical smell. It would probably work great to clear up a stuffy nose; some days it seems to burn my mouse and nose. It’s something to use sparingly but, really, just a small dab of the creamy Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser should suffice to wash one’s whole face.

If you’re looking for an effective acne-fighting cleanser without a prescription or high price tag, head down to your local drug store and pick up Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser.

Some dandruff shampoos simply don’t do the trick (helping reduce dandruff) and some do but leave your hair dry or greasy or in another pitiful state. Head & Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo, Classic Clean will reduce your dandruff and leave your hair feeling clean.

They recently added more products to the Head & Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo line as well as upgrading the product design and I noticed something else. The classic head and shoulder received a scent upgrade, too. It smells much less medicinal (but I was willing to deal with that to get such great results!). In fact, I couldn’t figure out what smelled so great and refreshing the first day I switched back to head and shoulders but it was my hair! Many shampoos which smell great do a poor job at making your hair smell great for any amount of time but I was pleasantly surprised at how good my hair smelled after using this.

I recommend this product to any dandruff sufferers and, worry not, there’s no unfortunate side effects.

I’ve used many lotions, as most females have, and have found that while some may smell great, they tend not to do a good job. Conversely, if it does a great job, it probably smells medicinal and disgusting.

However, Suave skin therapy Advanced therapy moisturizer has a pleasant but serious smell and does a great job. I’ve always had extremely rough and dry feet so I originally purchased the Advanced Therapy lotion for there and I noticed a huge difference!

Suave’s lotion claims it isn’t greasy and they come true. It moisturizes your skin deep without leaving residue and don’t be fooled by that pleasant smell. It’s neither fruit nor flowers nor baby powder. It’s something else. Almost medicinal yet strangely pleasant and elegant. Your nose won’t be offended but your mind knows it does the trick!

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative for a powerful lotion, this is it!
